Rear 2.5" Remote Reservoir Shocks with Adjusters
King offers the 2.5 Series rear shocks in a remote reservoir configuration with an optional external compression adjuster for fine tuning. These shock absorbers bolt on, right out of the box, allowing no welding, drilling on your vehicle. These bolt on shocks include all necessary brackets and hardware to mount your new reservoirs to the frame.
The King 25001-144A are for 0-1.5” of lift over stock in the rear of the truck.

These 25001-144A King Shocks provide a huge improvement in performance both on and off-road and will allow you to venture through most difficult terrain with ease. These rear Tundra shocks feature large shafts and pistons that are combined with a high quality shock design. Providing increased travel, improved rebound, better compression, and greatly reduced fade over your truck’s factory rear shocks. The rear piggyback res shocks bolt directly on with little effort. The King’s legendary name, known for their quality shocks are one of the most famous names in off-road suspension and racing.

Simple shock replacements like this 25001-144A Rear Shocks to full race spec long travel kits. We have a few things to keep in mind when building your Tundra platform;
The front suspension on your tundra’s suspension geometry allows for about 9” of wheel travel with the factory upper control arms (UCA). That should be plenty for most applications when combined with well tuned coilovers, however, for performance applications, we suggest you replace the upper control arms (UCA’s) with aftermarket upper control arms suggest below to allow for up to 12” of wheel travel (depending on vehicle, tires and fenders) when paired properly with the King Coilovers built for extended travel. DON’T use coilover pre-load to lift the vehicle over 2.5” with factory Upper Control Arms (UCA’s or 3” with aftermarket Upper Control Arms. Lifting your Tundra beyond those limits puts extreme limits on the CV Shafts, steering linkages, tie rod ends, etc… which reduces ride quality and will cause your parts to wear out faster, hence replacing them more quickly. If your desire for your Tundra is to lift it more then 2.5” – 3” or higher and have excellent performance, you will need an aftermarket lift kit that drops the lower control arms and front differential.
