Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers are designed for trucks and SUVs with a front OE coilover style suspension. This Bilstein Ram 1500 Series Shock Package has the ability to adjust the front ride height. Each adjustable 5100 Series shock has multiple snap ring grooves (Circlip) that will allow the spring seat to be set in different positions. Prior to any installation, be sure to make sure you have all parts available, simply choose the ride height your looking for.
Adjustable Ride Height
The ability to adjust the front ride height of these Bistein shocks is a major selling point. Each Adjustable 5100 has multiple snap-ring grooves that allow the spring seat to be set in different positions. Prior to installation simply choose the best height for your situation. The included instructions will explain the height each groove will provide. There are 7 Positions on the circlip for the Ram 1500:
